 Madalena Trabuco composed her first songs in Portuguese in 1998. Around the same time, she started to sing as a chorister in the band “Rasbaille”. In 2002, back in Porto, in the country of her origins, she sang with the band “Sativa” and composed new songs in three languages: French, Portuguese and English.

She was then given the opportunity to open for the Jamaican legend Lee”Scratch” Perry at the Sà da Bandeira Theatre in Porto.

Back to France, Madalena Trabuco diversified her repertoire together with the composer Laurent La Rocca, going from singing songs to Bossa nova.

Madalena Trabuco then travellled from one stage to another in the south of france with the band “Daïpivo”. In 2008, her encounter with Antoine Essertier led to the project of an album. Her first single “Respectez-moi” broadcast on the cable channels, was a real hit. Warner Music France signed the album and marketed it in 2012.

In this first opus, we can listen to outstanding duos with Maria de Medeiros for the song “Porto em Septembro” as well as with Tom Frager in “les étoiles”.

Fondly attached to her Portuguese roots, the artist takes up themes as varied as Emotion, Hope, Nature and Love.  The whole is given melodious rhythm by the use of strings, percussions and the accordion which bring a mesmerizing and rousing feature to her songs.

Her stage appearances drew attention at Deauville Hippodrome, sharing the stage with Joyce Jonathan as well as at l’L’Alhambra in Paris opening for Boulevards des Airs, in Paris again at the Trianon opening for Anggun. She was then back in concert for the festival of the “wild concerts” in Avoriaz and at the “wall For projection 2012” in Cassis, as well as in many Parisian theatres.

In October 2013, during the commemoration gala of the Portuguese Republic at the “Hotel de Ville” of Paris, she was awarded an honorary award for her involvement in the promotion of  the Portuguese culture.

March 8, 2014, it will be one of the performers of Song Festival RTP in Lisbon (Portugal), invited by Tozé Santos (Per7ume) to interpret "Coração de Filigrana."

From November 2014 until February 2015 , Madalena launch a crowdfunding platform to record the album in a studio in Paris . It will reach its target of 100% .

In 2014, she was an ambassador to Paris of the "Cantar Portugal" whose goal is to invite the Portuguese community to create a DVD of 20 traditional Portuguese songs.

April 2015 , Madalena becomes patron of associations for aid to children " Footballeurs sans frontières " and " Je veux du soleil" which raise awareness about organ donation.

June 2015 , the download for the single "Respeitar a terra" is on all music platforms in Portugal.

7, 8, 9 July 2015 , Madalena is invited by "Association Sol do Sul"  in partnership with the French Alliance for the  First meeting France Brazil in Porto Alegre, Rio Grande do Sul , Brazil.

In August 2015, the new clip "Respeitar a terra" directed by Anna Da Palma is on all video platforms and Poplusa ( RTPI ) in Portugal.

September 15, 2015, Madalena Trabuco's "Transição" album, made in Paris by Frantz Fagot, is on sale on all legal digital download platforms and the CD in all FNACs in Portugal.

Then destiny will lead Rosivaldo Cordeiro multi-instrumentalist, producer in Manaus in Brazil and Madalena to meet to consider an album, by merging their different cultures franco, portuguese and brazilian.This beautiful opus, recorded in Provençal lands and mixed in the heart of the Amazon, was released digitally internationally on June 16, 2017.

The beautiful song "Canção de Engate" by Antonio Variações is adapted for the first time in French by Madalena. Renamed « Se Donner » in its French version, it will be available on all international platforms May 18, 2018 and his clip, directed by the singer, will be released that same day.

We will meet Madalena on June 20, 2018, at the Amazonas Theater in Manaus, Brazil, for the magnificent ConnexionArt show.

The album "Transição" will be released on international platforms in 2019.
